Our Maple Ridge and Tameron Woods communities are a very comfortable driving distance to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor so why not take advantage of some FREE summer fun?

Waterfront Kids is offering free classes from May through August at West Shore Park, which is located between the Baltimore Science Center and Baltimore Visitor Center. Children can take advantage of arts, crafts, dance classes and more. And the best part? IT’S FREE!

Toby’s Dinner Theatre

Less than 30 minutes from both our Maple Ridge and Tameron Wood communities is Toby’s Dinner Theatre, Baltimore. Currently playing is Hairspray until July 1, 2012.

Toby’s has two locations, Baltimore and Columbia, and runs several shows throughout the year. The buffet dinner has a large variety of choices and tickets are very reasonably priced. You can also maintain a subscription with the theater for priority seating and discounted ticket pricing.

Sales comparison through March 2012
• Average sold price is the highest it’s been since November of 2011!
• Total number of sales for the month are on the increase, we hope to see this activity continue
• Average listing price of a property took a substantial increase from last month’s $247,000

Homebuilder’s Association of Maryland-Sales Camp 2012

Last week, Brooke and Trent were invited to speak at the Homebuilder’s Association of Maryland’s Sales Camp in Timonium, Maryland. Brooke and Trent spoke of running a small business and shared the tips that have made Kaine Homes successful.

Each year, the sales camp has a special guest speaker at the beginning of the day. How lucky were we to hear the Baltimore Raven’s coach, John Harbaugh, present to us?! Coach Harbaugh shared his philosphies on working hard, being passionate and fighting for what you want in life. He was contagious with his excitement, his pride for his team and his casual and warm personality.

2012 First Month Sales in Calvert County

The beginning our of new year saw numbers a bit better than the end of 2011, so take a moment to read the below:
• The number of homes sold is at its lowest in the past year
• The average sales price increased from December but is still one of the lower figures we’ve seen in the past year
• Seller contributions actually dropped below $5,000 last month and is exactly $1.00 less than it was back in June 2011.
