November Real Estate Report
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010Christmas Carols and Lunch Provided by Bruce Rider
Monday, December 20th, 2010Bruce Rider, our dear friend and associate with George Mason Mortgage, was kind enough to treat all of us here at Kaine Homes to Christmas carols and lunch today.
While we all gave it our best, Bruce certainly takes the cake when it comes to musical talent. Not only does he play guitar, he also sings very well!
Check out our video from the event: Brooke came in close second in the singing competition but I believe will continue his career building homes.
Thank you so much Bruce for the lovely afternoon and Happy Holidays from us here at Kaine Homes!

Troops April Tennyson and Brendan McCarthy-Thank You for Serving!
Monday, December 13th, 2010Kaine held its annual Christmas party for all employees this past Friday. In lieu of a gift exchange, the employees once again decided to contribute to several care packages for two special troops overseas. This time of year gives us the opportunity to reflect on giving and we certainly want to take the time to reflect on the men and women fighting for our country.
In addition, we had the very special privilege of having one of the troops who received our care packages last year attend the event. Michael Wilson, now a representative for Wounded Warrior Project, was kind enough to share his experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as his role helping recovering soldiers with WWP.
We had a wonderful day and look forward to hearing from our troops when they receive their care packages in the coming weeks.
Special Guest Michael Wilson and package assembly!
Kaine Trade Contractor Appreciation Breakfast
Sunday, December 5th, 2010We had another successful appreciation breakfast this past Friday. In addition, many contractors donated to our Toys for Tots campaign. Currently, we have donated one full box of unwrapped toys for children in need this holiday season! To everyone that attended thank you so much for your hard work. We all truly are a team building beautiful homes.
November Personal Enrichment Class
Friday, December 3rd, 2010Kaine Homes most recent luncheon also gave employees the oppportunity to learn a bit about photography! A big thank you to Jeff Crespy for taking the time to educate us!
Here are some tips for your next photo session:
• If your photo is blurry check your shutter speed first. The setting may be too slow
• 1/15th of a second is a good shutter speed that you can hold steady
• Whenever you download any photos from your camera, always make (2) copies
• Don’t photograph anything outside between the hours of 11:00 – 4:00 to avoid direct sun light or “key light”
